Who Are the Living Dead Mentioned in the Holy Quran?

Tafsir of Some Verses from Surah Ar-Rum: Almighty Allah mentions in the Holy Quran that there are people who become arrogant and boastful when granted blessings, but when those blessings are taken away, they turn into disbelievers. It is not right to think that when we have wealth, we should be grateful, and when we do not, we should become ungrateful. The ups and downs of life should be met with patience, as exemplified by Prophets like Ayub (A.S.), Yahya (A.S.), and Zakariya (A.S.), who remained patient in the face of severe trials.

Further Explanation: The Quran states that some people are alive in appearance, but their hearts are dead. They do not perceive the guidance that is offered to them. In another verse, Allah addresses the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), saying that he cannot make the dead hear. The scholars explain that the 'dead' here refers to those who are spiritually dead, even though they are physically alive.

Additional Discussion: Allah says in the Quran that He will grant a pure life to those who believe and do righteous deeds, meaning their souls will be alive. Imam Ali (A.S.) said that some people are like living dead; although they appear human, their hearts are like wild beasts. The word "life" in the Quran is sometimes used to mean the life after resurrection, and on the Day of Judgment, some will regret not having prepared for it.

Further Elaboration: Allah has sent peace upon all the Prophets, including Noah (A.S.) and Ibrahim (A.S.), in the Quran. He does not send peace to the dead, which means the Prophets are alive in the Barzakh (interim life after death and before the Day of Judgment). After the Battle of Badr, the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) spoke to the dead enemies, telling them that they had witnessed the fulfillment of Allah’s promise. When asked if the dead could hear, the Prophet replied that they understood his words better than the living at that moment.

On his return from the Battle of Siffin, Imam Ali (A.S.) stopped at the cemetery in Kufa and addressed the dead, telling them that their homes are now occupied by others, their wealth has been divided, and their spouses are living in peace. If Allah had permitted them to speak, they would have said that only piety and righteousness are of any use in the afterlife.

Finger print and a Bengali

Khan Bahadur Kazi Azizul Haque

Fingerprints are now involved in everyday activities. This is the mobile phone lock that is being opened with fingerprints in the presence of the office or in the identification of criminals with fingerprints at various gates. Do you know who invented this fingerprint detection system first? But you will be surprised to know that the inventor of fingerprint is a Bengali Muslim. whose name is Khan Bahadur Kazi Azizul Haque.

Besides, Kazi Azizul Haque was born in 1872 in Kasbar Payagram of Khulna District. At the end of the nineteenth century, two Bengali sub-inspectors, Kazi Azizul Haque and Hemchandra Bose, are busy working in the Bengal Police Department. Both were keenly observing, then, a particular subject of criminology. Scattered fingerprint samples. They were basically thinking of starting a new system with those. As the work progressed, the tension was building up inside them. The moment came suddenly! New methods of criminal identification were developed. Which came before the whole world in the name of finger print verification.

Many people have worked on fingerprints before, but our Qazi Azizul Haque was the first to discover its practical use, how to verify it, and how to identify people using fingerprints.

Meanwhile, Edward Richard Henry was the IG of British Bengal Police at that time. He hired two Bengali geniuses for research on fingerprints, one mathematician Kazi Azizul Haque, the other Hem Chandra Bose. Together they built a huge collection of 7000 fingerprints. can be identified. It was a great discovery of modern science. Although the system was supposed to be called the "Boss-Hawk Identification System". But instead its name became, 'Henry Classification System'.

Basically, Mr. Henry himself started promoting to everyone that he himself invented this fingerprint detection system. Even Kazi Azizul refused to give any recognition to Haque. He also published a paper under his own name. Meanwhile, the system discovered by Kazi Azizul Haque of Bangladesh became the name of 'Henry Classification System'.

Meanwhile, in the January 10, 2005 issue of Current Science magazine, JS Sodhi and Yashjit Kaur wrote a long article entitled 'The Forgotten Indian Pioneers of Fingerprint Science', in which they candidly acknowledged the contribution of Khan Bahadur Azizul Haque in the classification of fingerprints. , his contribution was the most in this regard.

It is now clear that the 'Henry System' is no longer Henry's. Now fans and followers of Azizul Haque call this method of fingerprinting as 'Henry-Haque-Bose System'. Britain's 'The Fingerprint Society' has launched 'The Fingerprint Society Azizul Haque and Hemchandra Bose Prize' under the initiative of Fancy. The award will be given mainly to those who will make special contribution in forensic and related fields.

Effective Reading Comprehension

Effective Reading Comprehension

Effective Reading Comprehension

Have you ever read a paragraph or few pages and thought, "what did I just read." Your eyes passed over the words, but you don't remember a thing. Now you need to re-read the passage, which is 10 more minutes of studying that you don't have to spare.
The act of reading does not guarantee successful comprehension or knowledge retention. But fear not! Even if you first learned how to read decades ago, you can still become a better, more efficient and effective reader.
One enduring technique developed by Francis P. Robinson, an American education philosopher in his 1946 book Effective Study, is call SQ3R. This acronym stands for Survey, Question, Read, Recall, and Review. It may require practice to use effectively, but it is well worth the effort. The steps for SQ3R are as follows:
1.    First, skim or survey through your material to get a high level idea of the content.
2.    List out several questions you have about the content.
3.    Go back and read thoroughly, but this time try to answer the questions you listed.
4.    Next, recall from your memory what you just learned. Pretend you are telling someone about what
    you have just read.
5.    Review the material with a closer focus. Were you able to answer your questions? Did new questions arise? If so, repeat the process to try answering your new questions.
Another method for boosting comprehension and knowledge retention is to make annotations to the learning material while reading. Add notes, mark down thoughts and comments, list out questions, and make connections as you are reading. Using this technique will help you make sense of complicated materials, but will also organize your notes for reviewing later.
1.    Read the material once through and mark unfamiliar concepts or words, and identify the key ideas.
    Pose questions.
2.    Read the material again, making more detailed notes this time. Mark ideas you agree and disagree
        with.
3.    Make connections to other things you have read, studied or experienced. Highlight key phrases and ideas and rewrite them in your own words. Add personal comments.
