Active cycle of breathing technique

Lung exercise:

This technique is very effective for removing lung secretions. It is done in 3 steps.

1. Breath control: Breathe in and out 3-4 times comfortably by relaxing the shoulders and stomach. 

 2. Long Breath: Take a long breath and hold it for a few seconds. Then slowly exhale. Do this 3-4 times. 

 3. Huffing: Breathe in through the chest, contract the abdominal muscles and exhale through the mouth 1-2 times. Then cough 1-2 times and expel phlegm.
